Well done everyone

Just a quick note to congratulate everyone who took part today in the race. The weather went against us and I didn't expect many people to show up. 99% of everyone who registered was there today and it is a credit to you all. The results will be posted on Monday on this site. Well done again and we'll see you all next year.

Relay Event

There is now an added relay event for this race. The age group will be determined by the oldest child racing. For example, if you have an 11 year old swimming and a 15 year old running, the 11 year old will be swimming the same distance as the 15 year old age category.

Registration and Start time.

Registration will take place inside the Leisure Centre in Port Laoise @ 09:00 hrs. The first wave will be starting at 10:00hrs sharp. It won't be long now so I hope all the training is going well.

New Age Group

Due to popular demand, this year we have added in a new age group for our younger atheles. This has not been added as yet to our webpage but the age is for 7 - 8 year olds. These budding athletes will have a 50m (2 lengths) swim with a 400m (approx) run. We are looking forward to cheering them on.

Entries for 2010 Race Now Open

You can now enter Trilogy's Junior Aquathon 2010. Join the 150 9-19 year olds from across Ireland that will battle four different course distances in pursuit of national championship medals.

Entries opening shortly

Entries for Trilogy's Junior Aquathon will open on 1 May. Entry will be €5.00 per entrant, as in 2010, and will be available in 5 age groups, 7-8 years old, 9-12 years old, 13-15 years old, 16-17 years old and 18-19 years old. Event distances will be as per last year, and appropriate to each age group.

National Championships back to Portlaoise on 10 July

Trilogy's Junior Aquathon will be the National Junior Aquathon Championships again in 2010. Using the same course as 2009 in Portlaoise, we are moving to a new date - 10 July. By that time all of our target competitors will be finished school for Summer and all exams complete!
